U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and former South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg took incoming fire on electability issues from former Vice President Joe Biden and other rivals in the eighth presidential primary debate as Democrats search for a candidate capable of beating President Trump in November.
The debate Friday night in Manchester, N.H., was the last meeting of the candidates before the Granite State's primary on Tuesday, and candidates did not shy away from drawing attention to their rivals' perceived political vulnerabilities.
Candidates also repeatedly hit Buttigieg on his experience, arguing the 38-year-old may not be equipped to beat Trump.

Donald J. Trump still won that debate, without even being on the stage. Nobody had a recognizable defense of either their individual “best traits”, or of the overhaul of the economic and social systems they seek to institute. Mostly, it was name-calling, and not always in a genteel and cultured manner.

You just know that, eventually, Biden is going to call Bernie a Commie and Mayor Pete a fag. He can’t help himself.

since there’s not a nickel’s worth of difference between the kommie Dem candidates, and the Dems have no viable plan or platform for governing our country, pretty much the only thing these fools can do during a debate is to levy ad hominem attacks against each other ... i wonder how that’s going over with Dem voters?
Mayor Pete probably has a resume with accomplishments like “First South Bend mayor to finally succeed in getting permits to totally demolish the four deteriorating huge warehouses in downtown district 4 and build new after school basketball courts and skating rinks there.”
Trump’s will say “Brought more jobs to minorities and women by deregulation and increased opportunities by his policies....met with world leaders and handled volatile crises with North Koreans and Iranians.”
So, a standoff./s
