It sort of stands out like a sore thumb
To the marxist elite like De Blasio (real name Warren Wilhelm Jr.), ordinary people being mugged, robbed and assaulted is normally just a bruised pinky.
But now that people are actually complaining about it, it's risen to the level of a sore thumb.

When a democrat talks about reform, be afraid, very afraid.

This reminds me of the leftie complaint that: “crime is dropping even as incarceration rises.”
Well... duh.

I try to visit the NY Automobile Show every April. I haven’t missed one in years.
Living in NJ, getting there is a 60-minute bus ride to the NY Port Authority building, then a brisk walk or short cab ride to the Javits Center. Generally, I’m home before 5:00 p.m. It’s a nice day out, and I get to see all the new model cars, chat with the dealer / mfg. reps, etc., etc.
I’m going to skip the show this year. I wonder how many other “Out-of-Towners” will do the same.
