Trump sill put out a scorched earth plan, and the fields will be salted also.
He has been working hard against the Deep State, but I think he finally understands that it is deeper—wider—and more evil than he ever could have imagined.
Holdovers are only treacherous persons who will continue to disrupt him at any possible level until they are all cleared out.
When companies merge, the axe falls, from the top down....and for good reason.
Also- When you have to fire or discharge or lay off a person in your business, you are correct to pay them severance pay , change the locks & passwords, and get them out of the buildings. Letting them have a 2 week notice only gives them time to cause serious mischief.
I heard one story years ago about a women who was given 2 weeks notice at a publishing company. She spent the next 2 weeks wiping out all of the subscription records for the magazines they published. It was VERY costly to rebuild that database. Should have prosecuted her.
Never give employees notice. fire, pay, and escort from building. That has been the norm since the 80s
