Construction crews have started blasting hills at Organ Pipe National Monument to clear space for a new border wall.
The Arizona Daily Star reports crews are bulldozing through Monument Hill to prepare for construction of a 30-foot steel fence. U.S. Customs and Border Protection says targeted blasting will continue intermittently through the end of the month.

More and more simultaneous crews will be joining the effort throughout this year.
I visited Organ Pipe National Monument as a kid.
It has been off limits to Americans as too dangerous for a while.
Maybe someday soon we can visit again.

It is utterly disgusting to see sovereign American soil ceded to Mexico and her cartels because our leaders lack the will to defend it, or worse, are in the pockets of the cartels. It is criminal and treasonous, and many are still blocking Trump every chance they get.

NOT ONE of them has pointed out that this National Monument has been a NO-GO for a LONG time, because of the cartels and the human smugglers. I DO NOT personally put politics on my facebook page, but boy, I sure would love to sometime.......and as everybody knows, Libs LOVE to vomit their politics all over Facebook. I am only on it to keep in touch with friends and relatives that live far away.

Yep... that is the reality of Organ Pipe.
That was my thought also. There is some national forest just North of Tucson Az. that had warnings to stay away from because of smugglers. I can’t wait to get our country back.
Just about the whole bottom third of Az has been a no go zone for quite awhile!
