I didn’t watch the SOTU speech so I didn’t know that the last surviving Tuskeegee Airman was honored.

Hearing that the Democrats “sat for that” is appalling. I can’t think of a better way to show their pettiness and small-mindedness. That shouldn’t be a partisan moment.

Honoring Rush? I’m sure many of the Democrats hate him almost as much as they do the President. I would expect that they would sit with “eating a sour pickle” expressions on their faces.

I have to wonder. If President Trump had announced that the building was on fire and everyone should start calmly filing out, would the Democrats have sat there and burned up rather than listening to what he said? (Actually I expect that most of them would probably have trampled small children to have saved themselves.)

Agreed 100%. But it was also the perfect thing to do - if, that is, you were trying to lose Black votes. If nothing else, it demonstrates how much the Dems take the Black vote for granted - which, if I were Black, I would consider grossly insulting. As it is, I am Jewish and I find the Dem’s assumptions about Jews to be grossly insulting.
