His campaign on the line, Joe Biden goes missing in New Hampshire

NASHUA, N.H. - Outside the castle-themed Radisson Hotel where Joe Biden has been staying, his campaign bus was parked and ready for events.

But on Thursday, just five days before the crucial primary here, the candidate was nowhere to be found.

Biden spent Thursday gathered with his top advisers at his home in Wilmington, Del., seeking a reset and perhaps a last-ditch effort to save his candidacy, beginning with a debate Friday night. He held no public events.

Following dismal results in the Iowa caucuses that have rattled many in his orbit, his campaign is now simultaneously trying to lower expectations here - with some suggesting they would consider a finish as low as third place a victory - while also bracing for a second straight difficult Election Day.

Looking past South Carolina (still a maybe for him)...Super-Tuesday matters. Of those 11 states, Biden needs to win six of them....to still matter at Convention time.

Presently, I’d suggest that he might only have an strong edge in one state (Virginia). The rest are still pretty close. If he doesn’t clear a several states on that day...his campaign is finished and I think he will stop the effort.

He can’t. His campaign’s shielding him from corruption charges.

Don’t you get the feeling that something may be on the “verge of happening”? Trump straight up called the Deep State out yesterday, Senators with confidential banking files of Hunter Biden, Slow Joe blows of New Hampshire. I suspect the real numbers on Trump’s support is a lot higher than the media will concede. The recommendation was that Comey (and others) SHOULD be prosecuted but Barr mysteriously refused.

Barr may actually get of his ass and who knows, maybe even Wray can be convinced to give up looking for WHite Supremacists under every bed. Trump praised Barr briefly yesterday but if he hasn’t started rounding up the conspirators in the next couple months Trump had better fire him. And Wray.

Should we start a pool for which date he will drop out?

Anyone check the hotel pool especially after hours? Joe’s a noted skinny dipper.

C’mon man! God love ‘im!

If the coverup is getting out of hand, the campaign will have to wait. Too much news about Hunter’s travel and finance records yesterday? Joe would have heard about it before any of us, before he headed home.

To think the Democrats said President Trump is so afraid of running against Biden he asked for Ukraine to investigate. That is totally absurd. It makes me furious they even insinuated such a thing.

Take heart in the fact that it’s a desperate clutching at straws. It’s also a demonstration of their complete - and that is not an exaggeration - lack of any idea, initiative, plan, strategy or mandate.

The party of big government has been spending the last 3.5 years chasing its tail with no additional big government to show for it. Yes, the Senate and WH are GOP controlled but many Republican senators love a nice shiny new bureaucracy that promises to be efficient and clean especially if it means some money spent in their states. Even Trump is not above spending in certain cases (unfortunately).

But the Dems decided to act out of pique, frustration and, again, because they had nothing to offer as an alternative.

Unfortunately there are still many voters who believe in big government also. They hate the DMV and the IRS like we do but they still believe that somewhere in the DC swamp there is a secret location where the nice, kind, altruistic bureaucrats work who really care about them. They are watching their (?) party do less than nothing.

You can also see the Democrat candidates’ exasperation with Pelosi/Schumer. All of them have joined Bernie Sanders in promoting the nuclear option: blow it all up, melt it all down. Destroy the American economy to save it. Not a welfare state but a communist state.

In sum, the DC Dems have no friends left except, perhaps, the media. They have old leaders with old ideas and a lot of old cronies in the press who flatter them. As a result, Pelosi and Schumer and Schiff think they are at least partially effective. Hopefully their hangover in November will be the worst they have ever experienced.

My speculation here is that Biden, his campaign staff, and the DNC leadership are putting their heads together right now in a desperate attempt to come up with a plan to stave off disaster in November ... not disaster for Biden (which is a given), but for the rest of the party. Without a credible candidate — even one they know is a loser — at the top of the ballot, the party may be facing a 1994-style wipeout in the House and Senate races as well.

He didn’t survive Iowa in his prior presidential campaigns. Maybe they’re just regrouping for territory where he’s never been.

I’ve been on the “verge” of waiting on the verge. A public investigation into the Deep State and convictions are the only cure for this corruption. The Rats were able to get a sham Mueller investigation going while the Republicucks had both chambers of Congress and the Presidency. Obviously there’s a lot of dirt on some people that keeps people in line.

When he drops out of the race, does that put him on the hook to be investigated in the Burisma/Ukraine/Hunter/et al. connection and all this crap?

When will someone tell Joe that he is too demented to be President? As people live longer, more are seeing the effects of dementia in their aging relatives. The public knows what is going on and Joe is unelectable.
