Investors are showing no signs of concern that Sen. Bernie Sanders will end up in the White House in January.
Sanders, I-Vt., who has all but secured a top-two finish in the Iowa caucus, has rocketed to the top of the field of Democratic presidential candidates in recent polls. The online platform PredictIt now gives him a 48 percent chance of winning the party's nomination, up from 25 percent at the end of last year.
At the same time, the stock market has shrugged off President Trumps impeachment trial and the coronavirus outbreak, gaining about 3 percent this year.

I think it’s an important observation to make that if the nevertrumpers had their way, a candidate like Mitt Romney or Jeb Bush would be the Republican candidate in november.
Bernie Sanders draws a lot of his appeal by appearing genuine and authentic (authentically socialist, but authentic nonetheless), and running against a stuffed suit candidate like Mitt or Jeb! That would get so many conservative voters to either hold their nose or sit on their hands in November, Sanders could very well get a majority of the country’s voters to say “well, let’s give this socialism thing a spin, how bad could it be.”
And the stock market is never wrong - that’s why market crashes never happen!
Bernie Sanders is a relic from 50+ years ago. Back then, the Left wanted to tear down the system. Now, the Left IS the system. Bernie missed that part. He still wants to tear things down. He is no longer useful to them. The Left has figured out that they can spread their perversions using large corporations at least as effectively as by using the government. Bernie still thinks that the Revolution was about economics. It wasn’t.
DNC makes sure of it they decide who runs.
There are crashes and then there are crashes that can be avoided. Both courtesy of the Stock Market.
