Joe Biden, Democrats facing 2020 disaster after Iowa and impeachment disasters
NY Post ^ | February 5 2020 | Miranda Devine

Now that the impeachment farce is finished, and the president is acquitted, the Democratic Party has nothing left but futile gestures to mask its fatal political miscalculation.

All that’s left is a broken Nancy Pelosi shredding her remaining dignity by ripping up the president’s State of the Union speech.

All that’s left is poor Joe Biden limping from a catastrophic fourth-place finish in Iowa to another looming rout in New Hampshire, as the ascendant socialist wing of the party goes rogue.

I worry... it’s 9 months until the election and everything looks great for us and disastrous for the Dems. Are we peaking too soon?

I’m worried too. Anything can happen at a contested convention.

They’ll come up with as many outrageous accusations as they have time for between now and November. It’s all they’ve got.

At the conclusion of Super-Tuesday, the smoke will lift and you will be able to predict either a zero-outcome on the first ballot, or Bernie has the votes to win the first round of voting.

So far, from the first four primary states...I see Bloomberg achieving nothing. If he doesn’t win more than two states on Super-Tuesday....his odds of upward movement are zero.

Disaster and self destruction couldn’t happen to a more fitting group of politicians

Yep. I think they will bring up impeachment articles again.

Oh yeah. They’ve already got the next hoax ready to go in 3.2.1.

I don’t believe Bloomberg has any interest in winning. He very likely entered the race to lift limits on his anti-Trump ad spending. As we can see, that strategy is working quite well.. for Trump.

Sure, why not?

People on FR will worry no matter what.

I agree; Bloomberg has no chance of winning, and would do poorly in the American states between NY and CA. He wants to spread his money around and support leftist causes, but he has no chance. His history would ensure young leftist activists would stop his campaign dead in its tracks if they really believed he would be their candidate.

The problem is that Trump took all the good issues and so they can’t run against Trump by running FOR something that they claim they will DO - except communism and killing white people.

I’s Trumps fault. It really is. GOP hates him too.

Good! Look at what complacency gets us: Virginia. Every freedom-loving American better worry and stay worried and take actions to stop the socialists like our futures depend on it because they do!

The nomination of Bloomberg will not depend on votes.

as the ascendant socialist wing of the party goes rogue.

They use euphemisms but that's the essence. They say it's just Joe lacking vision (which is obviously true) but then some go to Klobuchar and Boot Edge Edge who have the same problem, so a lot end up with Sanders as shown in Iowa.

He started late. But he'll dominate depending on how fast Biden fades.

I never ever thought that these were the candidates. AT the convention, they will produce a generic democrat with no record, no baggage that everyone can vote for. You, know sort of like Obama.

Bloomberg’s thing is money. He’ll throw billions behind the den nominee.
