Nothing against it either.

And the articles brought by the Dems are invalid and unconstitutional.

This plays into the partisanship people hate and removes the focus they should have on the winning agenda. Just my .02, but they need an almost singular focus on voting to continue the winning policies or continuing the dysfunction and resistance.

I don’t think this is smart politics because this impeachment has wounded them far more than it has wounded the President.

The base is in the best shape of my lifetime. The GOP needs to focus everything on the blue dog democrats and independents in the districts where they can gain house seats. Singular focus!

Most people made their minds up about impeachment already, but there are many who are beginning to wake up to how great this President’s agenda is for them and their community. Why distract them with more partisanship? What does this do for them? Nothing.

First - gain back the house

Second - make this President’s agenda into law

Third - focus on keeping the house and stay the course on the agenda

While it is the right thing to do, how does this help them win back the house? You and I are already voting GOP in great numbers. The squishes and disaffected democrats are where the house will be won and they don’t like all the partisanship this fiasco represents.

This impeachment will be meaningless after today other than at this point the democrats are the ones who appear to be the partisan crazy crowd. I would ignore it. This impeachment has blessed Trump in ways we do not yet fully comprehend. It solidified his base, ostracized the critics within his own party (Mittens), been a boon for fund raising, and it is the only accomplishment for Pelosi and Co. In short, they lost and Trump won.

Why drag this crap out? They could always push this later, but how does it help them regain the house?

More kabuki theater. Sounds good for election, but the Senate could do the same, right now, by dismissing the bogus articles. Fact is, the GOP hates Trump as much as the left, which is why the spineless wimps won’t do a damn thing.

I don’t think expunging the record is worth doing. President Trump was “impeached” in a partisan abuse of power designed to manipulate the 2020 general election. That stain on this generation of democrat politicians belongs on the record and in the history books.

Rep. McCarthy, if you win back the House, how about helping President Trump instead of what you did the first two years when you had the majority?

We need to replace every last Bush League Republican with Republicans that side with the citizens, the rule of law and the Constitution.

McCarthy was Ryan’s deputy.

Somebody who actually wants to secure the border and restore the rule of law needs to be the next Speaker.
That isn’t McCarthy.
Boehner, Cantor, Ryan, McCarthy are all Bush League Republicans trying to turn the USA into North Mexico.
Same with Rubio, Hoeven, Graham and Murkowsky.

We MUST elect better Republicans as these people want amnesty for illegal aliens and a permanent Democrat majority.

Let’s just focus on winning back the house, then we can move on to make great things happen.

Then the next Democrat House will un-expunge his impeachment.

Lather, rinse, repeat. All has become trivial and totally meaningless.

Now that I think about it, I’m not certain that they can legally un-expunge his impeachment.

They COULD, however, expunge the Republican expungement of his impeachment.

Yeah, that’s it. I’m certain the Constitution allows that.

A double-expungement. It would be the first in the history of the Republic.

I’m glad everybody in Washington is taking all of this so seriously because, being preoccupied, they aren’t busy screwing up the country.

Schiff and Nadler gave the Republicans the tools to work with by denying the minority day in their hearings. The Minority day is called out in the house rules. By refusing to schedule it the chairman broke the house rules and the results of their committees could be ruled null and void.

They should also vote to expel Pelosi, Schiff and Nadler

They do. But if this could be done it would have been done for Clinton in 2009 when they had the entire enchilada.

The Whigs censured Andrew Jackson and when the Democrats retook the House they removed it
