Pelosi is a delusional nut job. She was despicable sitting while the President gave Rush the Medal of Freedom. Shows her class for sure.
I am 100% on board with him not shaking her hand. I wouldn’t have lent her that dignity or gravitas.
After the personal and professional ad hominem attacks coming directly from her in very public and un-couched ways, it would have been the height of hypocrisy to shake her hand.

A lot of people, including me, interpret her stunt as an act of impotence. She threw everything she had at Trump and it failed to make a dent. So all she can do now is make these idiotic, classless gestures.

Nancy Pelosi is a bitch. I have only used that word once in my life...to a federal law enforcement colleague who was truly being what the word implies...she did not take it well (the truth is sometimes difficult to face). Pelosi is exceedingly disrespectful and a disgrace to America and her leadership role in America. She should be censured by the House.
Mitch should do a symbolic tearing up of Pelosi’s impeachment papers after Trump is acquitted today.
No, the introduction took place after the President was at the podium and after he had refused to shake her hand. I suspect that even had Trump shook it Pelosi would have left out the traditional greeting.
But I’m not sure he even saw her hand, because she only put it out at the last minute and he probably assumed she wasn’t going to offer it.
Trump's done three State of the Unions. He knows the drill. It was deliberate.
It was probably an attempt to upstage him.
Both were out to upstage the other, that's for sure.
The left will never cite what they say are the “mistruths”, nor supply what their “truth” is.
In many ways I certainly don't blame Trump for not doing so. But shaking it would have shown him to be the better person. Especially if, as I suspect, she would have still dissed the President with her introduction.
Nancy’s entire belief system is a manifesto of lies and delusion. She showed the world exactly who she and her party is and it is not pretty.

She couldn’t stand the fact that he was standing up there touting the successes he has had doing things for the American people, while she has been doing nothing except getting the House embroiled in a failed coup attempt. Many people dislike those who succeed at something they failed. I do not know how much more Trump could have done to highlight her failure as speaker than he did by just standing up there and listing his successes and future plans.
