DES MOINES There can be no doubting it now, not after so many years spent in the crosshairs, not after active presidential candidates began challenging its privileged position atop the nominating calendar, and certainly not after Monday nights debacle that left seven candidates and millions of viewers waiting for results that never came: Iowas reign is over.
Oh, sure, the state and its fabled caucuses may live on in some ceremonial capacity, perhaps clinging to a sort of emeritus role in the earlier stages of the presidential nominating season. Presidential candidates will still pay occasional homage to the state, observing the time-worn traditions of tractor shows and food on a stick, unwilling to ignore a place and a people that have been so central to the making of the modern American presidency.
But Iowa wont go first. It cant go first. Not anymore...

If they achieve their ultimate goal (popular vote), Iowa won’t ever see a Democrat again.
[ and certainly not after Monday nights debacle that left seven candidates and millions of viewers waiting for results that never came: Iowas reign is over. ]
Hillary and the Demonrats are trying to figure out the best way to spin the (faked) results.
Just like everything they touch.
Well, if we’re going out, let me just say this:
Click on the link & look at that collection of misfits & weirdos! I was with 2000 people at a Republican Caucus last night & there wasn’t a PERSON in the place that looked even remotely like that.
Oh...we also had our votes tallied & reported before 8:00 PM. Good grief.
Ex aides of Hillary designed the software. Interesting how the software “failed” as Biden was falling to fourth place with wins by Sanders and Buttigieg, isn’t it? So the big story of the night is not Biden’s wipeout, its the technical glitch totally obscuring it. A little like Jeffrey Epstein committing “suicide”, isn’t it? What the Iowa Dems call “quality control”.
The hidden embarrassment, they are hiding behind a technical glitch. Another complete failure
Operation CHAOS is working out perfectly...
Puerto Rico can give it a go next time around.
The landscape has changed.

The Iowa caucus system is an absolute fuster cluck. No Secret Ballot!?!? And we allow this states Schitt authority to be the first vote of the presidential primary? REALLY? Iowa failed BIGLY tonight, shame on them, and shame on the national RNC and DNC to sanction this BS. Iowa with their extremely flawed caucus should NOT be the first flawed state to vote.
And our current presidential primary system voting is FUBAR. By the time my state holds the vote, a handful of states have already picked a front runner, virtually voiding every other vote of the majority of states afterwards. (rant/)
. . . 5 . . . 4 . . . 3 . . . 2 . . . 1 . . .
This helps Joni Ernst win reelection too
The primary system is woefully outdated and this will be the impetus for change IMO. Having the first balloted primary in a state like NH with open party affiliations, is a joke. The caucus system is a joke.
The democrats will be hard pressed to continue to use Iowa and NH in this role in the future IMO. They’re no longer a national party and states like that don’t matter.
I’d laugh at what a bunch of screw-ups the Democrats were, but Russia’s fault.
(Probably Bloomberg’s fault.)

Are you going to spam FR with that image on every thread, jackass?
Yes, I guess I went a bridge too far.
They destroy everything they touch.
WHAT if TRUMP WON THE IOWA DEMOCRAT CAUCUS ????
