Now infected with Chinese virus but from travel to Thailand? This is out of control, just not treated as such yet. Sounds like all travel to region needs to be halted. Blame the Chinese.
Damn...third party nationals now. Glad they caught it and have her under treatment.
She was in South Korea and infected with the virus for two full weeks before she went to the hospital. God knows how many people she infected during that two weeks. And how many times has this been repeated around the globe? We can only hope this thing is less contagious and has a lower mortality rate than we have seen in Wuhan, or it could end up being the most deadly virus since the Spanish Flu.
Johns Hopkins has a website that shows that Africa and South America have no infections and India has three. When those places blow out, you can foget ‘bout-it. For three months, this thing is going to ravage the earth.

How can you help? Stay healthy. Stay away from hospitals. Especially if you have the flu. Even if its this virus. Stay home and don’t go out. Take advil. Stay in bed. If you have family seperate yourself. Don’t go to work or school.
80% of the people who have it have fever and a non-productive cough (dry cough with little to no phlegm). When it gets really bad, you can expect nausea and muscle aches. Stay away from people 5 days before and 5 days after symptoms.
What makes this virus so bad is that it moves from person to person very easily. You can transmit the disease before and after symptoms. You can transmit it just by touch. And you can transmit it by touching an object and leaving virus on that object. That is pretty impressive for most flues or colds. Many people will get less severe symptoms. Great for you. But don’t power through it. You can still give it to your family and friends. And they may not be so lucky. It appears to kill some 1% to 2%. Those aren’t good odds for your family.
