I had the chance as I was driving to the Supermarket today to listen to the last two segments of Rush’s show today, 12/23/20... I listened to the first show on WABC from 10a-12p and even got through to talk with him. Rush, as a lifelong lover of AM Radio, and having actually been a broadcaster, I pray for you, and I thank you from the deepest part of my soul. You saved the medium, you make us laugh, you are the Chief Patriot and we love you. May this Christmas bring you love, and may your days be filled with joy.

I wanted to post to this thread today, concerning Rush’s Christmas message at the end of the show.
I missed the end of the show today but after reading about it, looked it up on Rush’s website.
Just watched/heard it. As with other longtime Rush fans, a very tearful ending, hearing Silent Night in the background as Rush spoke.

If I could get through as a caller I’d like to talk to the Maha Rushi about how his sense of humor and wit developed...Was he a reader of MAD Magazine when he was a kid? Who did he think was really, really funny? What sort of TV shows did he think were really, really funny?...What were his friends like in school and in his neighborhood? What was one of the funniest things that ever happened back then?, etc.
