House impeachment manager Adam Schiff (D-CA) expressed no regrets when asked if he could’ve done anything differently in the Senate impeachment trial during an interview on CBS’ “Face the Nation” Sunday morning.
When CBS’ Margaret Brennan asked Schiff for his response to Sen. Lisa Murkowski’s (R-AK) statement regarding her vote against calling witnesses to testify — which included calling the articles of impeachment flawed and saying that the partisan nature of this impeachment gets in the way of a fair trial in the Senate — Schiff said that Murkowski and other senators are “not mere spectators here” and that “it’s up to the senators to make it a fair trial.”

I’m now confused, schiff-for-brains. You claim that you completely “proved” your case, but that you had to have more witnesses in the Senate.
You proved nothing about Trump and proved yourself a traitor who must be destroyed!
What he’s proved is that democrats NEVER back down. Frankly, they are a real world example of the black knight in Monty Python and the Holy Grail. It’s kinda comical, really.
If you proved your case then there was no need for your Senate buddies to have more witnesses. What were they doing then demanding more?
i’m not sure that much of his “overwhelming” case was legit - since the House did not vote properly before the issuance of subpoenas. looks like it was all fruit of the poisoned tree. not that Schiff cares about rules/laws/ethics/due process.

um.. no. Trump proved your case. We have KNOWN what happened since the beginning when Trump released the transcripts.
It proved from the beginning that nothing illegal occurred.

Schiff—“We proved our case” using hearsay and nothing direct, only presumption, assumption, and conclusions from Ambassador Gordon Sondland, and no real evidence except that we directly hate Donald Trump. Oh, and we did not impeach on a crime or even a misdemeanor as defined in the Constitution. Our proof was “overwhelming and uncontested” but don’t look over there where people are contesting it, because it’s really underwhelming, and un-founded, so much so I had to make-up my own version of what the president said in the conversation to open my hearings.

Really hit the nail on the head. A guy who is precise, accurate when he says HE PROVED HIS CASE. With first hand, personal witnesses, backed by documents, accumulated by non partisan gov’t workers who were NOT biased, or in favor of any particular candidate...evidence...evidence...like he said, he had it. I WONDER WHY HE NEVER BROUGHT IT FORTH...LIKE THE WHISTLE BLOWER REALLY COULD HAVE TAKEN OFF HIS KLU KLUX KLAN HOOD AND TELL US who was sitting and accusing the President, trying to invalidate an entire election. In a real trial, the prosecution is supposed to have all their evidence walking in to the courtroom. They lay it out to the jury, and then the defense has the job of rebutting it.
The House Managers had nothing, walking in.

In one way, they certainly did "prove their case." That is, they proved nothing, but then their case was built on nothing. In that light, I'd agree, they "proved" their "case"...
