For some voters, a single issue does much to spur them to either accept or reject a politician's entire platform. Where a candidate stands on hot-button topics, which can include gun control, climate change, or funding our military, matters. Unsurprisingly, abortion is one of the most divisive subjects carefully weighed by the engaged members of the electorate.
The Democratic Party collectively favors abortion as a "woman's right to choose." To them, the issue is one that concerns the personal freedom of a woman. On the other hand, the Republican Party is largely against abortion. For the GOP, abortion is about the most fundamental of all rights: the right to life. The competing beliefs of self-determination and existence keep abortion at the forefront of our national discussion, but while those who identify as pro-life certainly prize liberty, they realize that life comes first before all other privileges. Because of that, it must be protected.
With the 2020 election around the corner, some disgruntled individuals on the Right may consider supporting a candidate other than President Trump for a variety of reasons. Since a third-party option would stand no chance at winning the election, that only leaves the Democrats. The leftist agenda espoused by any of the presidential candidates vying for the job of the commander in chief is enough to give conservatives pause. Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders may be the most extreme, but even Pete Buttigieg and Tulsi Gabbard, who, by comparison, aren't as radical, are questionable enough in their own right. Chief among the reasons to reject any of the Democratic candidates in their entirety is their desire to protect abortion.

Unfortunately, Trump is hardly ideal on the abortion issue. We still are funding Planned Parenthood, three years into his administration. You can say that's Congress's fault, but he hasn't put up a fight over it. His daughter, I suspect, may be advocating for continued PP funding - I can't know for sure, but I have my suspicions. In any case, he hasn't made this a priority issue, and hasn't gone to the mat with Congress over it., even when the GOP ran both houses.
You cant buy arms from the NRA, but you can buy them from Planned Parenthood.
The fight on abortion is in the Federal courts.
ANY legislation that is enacted anywhere in the US is over-ruled by a partisan Democrat Federal judge-president.
This is the problem that President Trump has been addressing.
Once you flush the courts of the Demoturds that have been overreaching for the last few decades, then you'll see some winning on abortion.
Not before.
I think a public fight will harden the pro abortion arseholes more. I think DJT is trying to load SCOTUS first. Then crotch kickem. I hope. The longer RBG is here the more babies arent. IMHO
Re-election first then the gloves can come off.
To say any of these Democrats arent radical is to make the mistake of judging things in elation to the way they appear right now and not as they are in relation to the history of the nation.
Even those not radical Left wing kooks are the people that the Anticommunists of old struggled to prevent. There is no extreme Left thats too extreme to the Left anymore ... which is why so much looks like the far right to them
In relation ... darn typos with this touch screen
Are there enough Never Trumpers to even matter any more?
Other then National Review and Mitt Romney, its not a big crowd, they all fit into a phone booth and still have plenty of room, kinda like a Biden Rally

Spot on. The Dems are at the point where Nancy Pelosi ... Nancy Pelosi! ... is now considered their “moderate voice”. She’s as leftist as she’s always been but that’s how extreme that party is now.
