Subway is incredible. Not even fast food other than fast
Dozens of fresh vegetables and meats. Fresh baked bread Salads
My go to spot. Love the veggie patty
And if you know what you want, it’s quicker than a drive-thru at a burger place
Are you kidding? I stopped going to one as they hire kids that don’t even pretend to care about making a sandwich. Instead of getting a new container of tuna fish, they will scrape out the crusted dried remnants of 2 day old tuna and skimp on the items. Half the time (even during non-rush periods) the bins are empty or not very clean. I seen several people put a sandwich on top of the previous sandwiches spilled ingredients on the cutting board, instead of wiping it clean after each sandwich. I can’t believe even after the Jared gets arrested for being a pedophile type of bad PR, Subway is the biggest chain ever? I’m not buying it.
Subway meats and cheeses are presliced, aren’t they? At Jersey Mike’s meat and cheese are sliced to order for each sandwich.
Or it could be that the particular Subways I visited were not typical. I’ve only been to a few.
Jimmy John’s is worlds better than Subway, faster service and so much tastier.
Their lettuce tastes and smells like clorox. No thanks.
Yep don't agree with the hate heaped on Subway. I like a limited range of sandwiches, so I haven't tried everything they make, but what I buy is good, and you can still get a footlong (which my wife and I split for a meal) for well under 10 bucks. Makes for a cheap and quick "too tired to cook" meal.
I like the toasted meatball.
