George McGovern redux!

The last communist that did not fare very well as a presidential candidate...

In fairness, McGovern was a decorated WWII veteran. Bernie is and always has been a bum.

At least, by some accounts, McGovern was a nice guy.

Bernie is portrayed by the media as a nice old man, which he most certainly is not. He’s a corrupt, nasty little prick.

George McGovern redux!

The country is much further along in its march toward the progressive ideal than they were in 1972. Bernie would pull 150+ EVs against Trump.

True....but the voting demo was WWII and Korean Vets who watched their buddies die fighting despots and communists.

The voting demo now is latte-lapping soy boy Bernie bro millennials who will send you to internment camps if you think poorly of “socialism”.

Those days are gone. Bernie can *absolutely* win. DO NOT write him off or take him lightly.

A certified COMMUNIST has at least an even shot at securing one of the two major party nominations for POTUS.

Anything can happen. If 2016 didn’t teach us that, nothing will.

Be Vigilant.

McGovern was a far more serious, respectable, and significant person than he’s often given credit for ( in light of his huge presidential campaign defeat). Also, he was not a pacifist like he’s often portrayed ( for having been against the VN war three years before President Nixon said he was). First Lieutenant McGovern flew 35 missions against Nazi Germany in ww2 and was awarded several medals including Distinguished Flying Cross for saving the life of his crew in a hazardous landing ( damaged plane). He earned a PhD at the evangelical seminary of northwestern university. And he represented South Dakota for many years in the House before being elected to the Senate. And he worked for many years for food for starving people, something he really was seriously concerned about. Not saying you or I would really want him as our president. Not saying that at all. But imho he was a thousand times more credible and accomplished as a person than any of the DNC clowns and communists they got running today. That’s all I mean. ( just compare him to the imho awful likes of Bernie the Red, Fake Injun Squaw, HilLIARy, Buttplug, Bloomie the accomplished but arrogant as Hell gun- grabbing abortionist, etc. ha! A sadder bunch has never been assembled outside an insane asylum) Ps: please no flames. I’m not suggesting any of us would have chosen senator McG. Thanks.
