Pakistan on Thursday said a plan is being considered regarding the signing of an agreement with Turkey to allow dual citizenship for citizens of the two countries.
This came during a meeting between Pakistan Interior Minister Ijaz Ahmad Shah and Turkish Ambassador to Islamabad Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul, according to a statement issued by Pakistan's Interior Ministry.
According to the statement, the Turkish ambassador on behalf of his government proposed both countries sign an agreement to allow dual citizenship for their citizens.
"In response to this, the minister said the draft is under consideration and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is on board with us. We hope to reach a mutual conclusion soon," it added.
Another reason Turkey should not be in NATO.
Really bad idea.
Get the evil Turkish Islamicist pro- terrorist regime out of NATO!
Well Turkey wants to make sure that when terrorists escape to his country (maybe with his help) they don’t meet any roadblocks.
Worse than bad. Such a terrible idea that it calls for a coup.
I guess it’s about time to stop support to Turkey and remove our bases for their support of terrorism.
Bin Laden and his deputy Ayman Zawahiri built the core al-Qaeda infrastructure in Afghanistan and Pakistan in the 1990s with the protection of the Afghan Taliban and Pakistan. The group functioned as a de facto state within the Taliban Islamic Emirate. It survived the American assault on Afghanistan after 9/11 by moving the rest of the leadership and infrastructure to Pakistan where it thrived and is still there today.
From Pakistan, the al-Qaeda core planned and conducted attacks like the Madrid train bombing, a wave of attacks on targets in Saudi Arabia, and the civil war in Iraq led by Abu Musaib al Zarqawi, bin Ladens lieutenant. The results were a wave of violence across the world planned and executed from Pakistan.
The killing of Bin Laden was executed by the use of information extracted from Sheikh Mohammed and using the information and triangulating the phones of a currier for Bin Laden who was captured in Iraq during the war named Hassan Ghul.
But Pakistan has been the central location of Al Qaeda since the early 2000’s. Time to go!
