"And we have a great party, the Republican Party. They know what's going on. They’re going to treat us very fairly. But the Democrats are trying to overturn the last election. We will make sure that they face another crushing defeat in 2020."

Yes. This is a happy time. Reminds of the days before 1984 election. We were all were confident that Reagan would win in a landslide. The economy was good. National security was good. Liberals were despondent and suicidal. Optimism reigned.

Savor these days bros. Someday another numb nuts like George H Bush will come along and screw the pooch.

I am not a great fan of Mitch McConnell but...I have to take my hate off and bend down to salute him for “bringing home the bacon”, first in the No’ Witness Vote” and then in the schedule to the final vote that will fully acquit POTUS, Donald J. Trump, next Wednesday!!!

Normally, I would have been shouting and screaming to take that final senate vote last night, but Mitch did good in scheduling the vote on this coming Wednesday. Why?

- Saturday & Sunday will be totally consumed 100% by the “SUPER BOWL GAME” It a great fantastic matchup and the entire country will care less about politics. They are more interested in a great game and all the wonderful Chicken wings an beer they can consume.

- Monday will be consumed by the after Super Bowl game news and stories and interviews...period!!! Forget any politics!!!

- Tuesday evening, POTUS, Donald J. Trump will give the “State-of-the Union Address...where millions of Americans will be Tuned in on TV and feed lines...possibly a record audience!!!

- Wednesday comes the Senate vote...period!!!

I hate to tell ya this, but the Democraps have been scheduling rallies and town meetings in IOWA for many months and very few IOWA Democraps have ever shown up. Example: yesterday Joe Biden attracted 100 people to a gym political rally and his wife Jill Biden attracted a massive 6 people in a local pool hall. The IOWA 2020 Caucuses is going to be a failure...overall because most Iowans Republican, Democrap or otherwise could care less!!!

And we have a great party, the Republican Party. They know what's going on.

Mitch did pretty well, given everything, but if the RINOs weren't RINOs there would have been a vote to allow the house managers 2 hrs to present there case and bonas fides - just to get their lying asses on the record in the Senate and before the public, and then a vote to dismiss and begin public hearings in the SJC on the conspiracy against the Constitution.

I am concerned that Mitch has set a trap for Trump. If Trump “insults” anyone in the Senate on Tuesday night things could get dicey. the Senate takes such things very seriously. It will be interesting to see if Trump can restrain himself from “insulting’ any senators including Romney and any Dems.

BTW I noticed Nadless continued to insult the Reps even late in the game with his remark that “..even a 10 year old...”, yup winning strategy there Jerry.

Fox, I’ve told you guys for two years that when Yertle says he will do something, he does it. He doesn’t make rash statements like Lindsey Graham or Newt Gingrich.

*He said he WOULD confirm Gorsuch, and he did.
*He said they WOULD pass the tax cut and he did.
*He said he would bring up Obamacare repeal for a vote—but DIDN’T say it would pass cuz he knew McTurd would screw us . . . and he did.
*He said he’d get Gorsuch confirmed, and he did.
*He said he’d get Trump acquitted. And he will Wed.

We can all be concerned about the stuff he kills on the floor, but one thing I’ve learned about Yertle is that when he makes a public statement about doing something, he has the votes to do it.

He held the line on Obama judge. He has delivered on Trump judges including two supremes, and he delivered on impeachment. Good by me.

The Turtle sees the writing on the wall...Trump is getting re-elected...

I do not like Trump (He has exposed Washington DC as corrupt..everyone)

But he has won the battle..we are stuck with him...so I have to do what I can..so I do not look like a never Trumper...but I may not do everything he wants...

Things will go back to normal when he is gone....

Trump needs to take over the party in 2020 and change the name..

Like when the DC basketball franchise changed its name from Bullets to Wizards and then all the crime disappeared in DC.

Changing the name of the GOP will be equally effective!

The key is encouraging people who have been successful in life (private sector) to run for office. Discourage those who want politics as a profession. Both actions a much harder problem!

Yep - and I expect him to find a way to leverage the cop attempt, in a classy way, during the SOTU...and for some Dems to make asses of themselves at the event.
