This was the whole purpose of the sham impeachment. No matter what happened in the Senate, the dems would say the acquittal is meaningless.
Interesting that Schumer is still pushing this narrative. It's very clear that the House (prosecution) failed and now want the Senate (jury) to bolster their case. The asterisk will be attached to the extremely partisan witch hunt by the Dem/Socs in the House. They still don't get it, there were no crimes! Sheesh.
Just read that many Democrats attended Trump's latest rally. I'm starting to think that we may have a chance to re-take the House.

You cannot have documents or witnesses in a trial that have not been vetted. They did it in the Kavanaugh hearing and it was nonsense. They have documents that have not been released and are still the result of a secret hearing...that is not DUE PROCESS! Vetting is how to get at the truth. No vetting is how to introduce political things of dubious veracity.

Why should they? Demonrats have never accepted Trump’s election as legitimate. Nobody that they know voted for Trump, so he must have stolen the election.

Trump should give the State of the Union in the Senate chamber. It is smaller and has much less seating than the House chamber, but the democrats can watch it via closed circuit TV in the House.
