Whats really interesting is that Shea will be responsible for handling highly politically charged cases. Things that make you go hmmm, right?
Attorney General William Barr on Thursday named Timothy Shea, one of his closest advisers, to be the next top prosecutor in the nations capital.
Shea will lead the largest U.S. attorneys office in the country, which has been historically responsible for some of the most significant and politically sensitive cases the Justice Department brings in the U.S.
He is a senior counselor to the attorney general and was Barrs right-hand man helping institute reforms at the federal Bureau of Prisons after Jeffrey Epsteins death at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York City.
As the U.S. attorney in the District of Columbia, Shea would oversee some of the lingering cases from special counsel Robert Muellers Russia investigation, along with a number of politically charged investigations. The office is also generally responsible for handling potential prosecutions if Congress finds a witness in contempt.
Tim brings to this role extensive knowledge and expertise in law enforcement matters as well as an unwavering dedication to public service, reflected in his long and distinguished career in state and federal government, Barr said in a statement. His reputation as a fair prosecutor, skillful litigator, and excellent manager is second-to-none, and his commitment to fighting violent crime and the drug epidemic will greatly benefit the city of Washington. The timing of this and the choice is interesting.
One cant help but wonder if this is a move made to support possible indictments and whatnot down the road pertaining to #SpyGate.
Just a few weeks ago William Barr sat down with NBC Today and said in no uncertain terms that the FBI acted in bad faith in regards to the Russia investigation.
Perhaps take a page out of AG Holder’s book by offering support of the bottomless pockets of the DOJ to support “Victims” with civil suits related to denial of civil right. Criminal prosecution could remain an option but use the civil actions to squeeze the bad actors. It would really be effective if those being sued happened to be Deep State employees of the federal government. Civil suits would be an effective way of removing them from positions where they can continue to harm others. It is nearly impossible to fire a federal employee but they can be removed from a position of authority when the appearance of a conflict of interest exists.
Well, you don't bring the cases in DC. You find a co-conspirator in some other jurisdication and then bring the case their against him and all of the conspirators.
Thanks. That is what I have been maintaining.
I Pray you are right.
What if Marty “Igor” Feldman and Dianne Feinstein had a love child? What if that child was really stupid but had a California powerful parent? What if he ended up a impeachment manager and made such a fool of himself that Feinstein was seen walking out during his presentation?
Just a theory but the Schitt fits.
Are you sure Epstein is dead ? When was the funeral ? Why wasn't it on the news ?

Not that Shea doesn't already have clearance; my point is, Ciaramella II is everywhere in the Company (Ciaramella), in NSC (too many to name), in A/N/M/AF intel (Vindman), in Congress (Misko), all the way down to some DC Libtard doofus at Homeland Security that knows his boss's alpha clearance password.
Don't believe me? Shea was -- for DC purposes -- a nearly-complete nobody until this announcement yesterday.
Overnight, literally overnight, there is now a draft article at Wiki on Shea that will be approved by mid-week instead of a month for the average DC mandarin. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Timothy_Shea
This -- lowlife mid-level mandarins abusing access and clearance -- is what we have to stop. This is what we have to fight back on.
This would have been the perfect opportunity for Barr to flush out ALL the Ciaramella II's -- prep his own internal surveil, clear his throat about Shea internally with an embargo date, and see who bites the worm.
We have got to get serious, completely serious, about ensnaring these Swamp creatures into what HST called "The Process" and then flipping them to State's evidence. Over and over and over and over and over.
“Correct me if I am wrong, but it would seem our entire government spends most of its time servicing one another at the DC Glory Hole in the shape of a beltway.”
We can’t have starving attorneys...
I wonder if he was also a member of the dream team put together in 2017?
You are lacking some basic facts.
my immediate first thought as well. This article means Barr has hired help to come up with new excuses. I almost wrecked my truck last week when I heard Barr on Hannity saying he is thinking of assigning people to start looking into all the stuff in Bongino’s book from 18 months ago. Start looking into?? At this date?
Modified, Limited Hangout. They use it time and again all the way back to the Ludlow Massacre. They do it because it works.
Whats Barr waiting for? The Statute of Limitations.
The DOJ has a annual budget of about $28 BILLION yet it can’t seem to bring even one member of the cabal to justice. So far, nothing but excuses and delays.
By now there already is a mountain of facts and evidence in the public domain against most of the Spygate players. Numerous books have essentially performed the investigative work the DOJ should have done with its vast resources.
If Durhams scope, and or other ongoing investigations, in any way, get into Clinton Foundation connections, DNC money laundering (many billions, and involves banks from several countries and states, several elected officials, some of which likely was used to seriously impact our elections), corporate involvement in high-tech weapons tech transfer to Skolkavo (documented to as very significant), Uranium One, as well as the highly illegal broad and deep Coup effort, we are talking possible to probable criminal operations in at least 15 countries, 18 states, and DC. Probably more.
By regulation, the Clinton Foundation could easily justifiably go to Fed 8th.
However, all told, this thing is so massive, there are literally corporations, banks, aerospace and IT relared weapons tech and kickbacks, etc..., involving Fed Districts 2-11.
As you know, Clinton Foundation CONUS is located in Little Rock. However, it also had significant administrative OCONUS office operations in the Caribbean, and Canada.
I have very little trust we will ever see justice, but investigations would be justifiably global in scope, and potentially involve cooperation (or judges and juries) from several Fed Districts.
The scope and depth of criminal RICO related lawlessnes is mind blowing.
Do it big enough and broad enough, it’s too big to take it all down.
That's not encouraging. I'm sure all the deep state bureaucrats who work in Connecticut are quaking in their boots. The ones in D.C.? Not so much.
"It's a Federal case, so it doesn't matter where the perps live or where they happened to be standing when they committed their crimes."
Not true. The indictments must still be filed in the district (or one of the districts) where the crimes were committed.
From the Handbook for Federal Grand Jurors:
" the federal grand jury's function is to determine whether a person shall be tried for a serious federal crime alleged to have been committed within the district where it sits" - Page 2
" a federal grand jury can take action only upon federal crimes that have been committed within the district in which it has been impaneled" - Page 3
and "district" means specifically:
"District: The geographical area over which the federal district court where the grand jury sits and the grand jury itself have jurisdiction." - Page 8
Republican state district attorneys should take a page from the democrat playbook and start state law criminal investigations into the Clinton Foundation and Empire in every Republican controlled state where they had any connection.
Totally agreed.
To knowingly do less, is a betrayal of any oath of office, and a betrayal of justice and liberty.
