Excellent observation! I suspect President Trump’s black support is the lowest in larger inner-cities controlled by the Demorats for 60 to 70 years or more.

Look, I understand your pessimism if we only consider recent history; but, until the New Deal and the Great Society, the black vote was Republican. Something that was turned can be turned back and Trump is the historical president to accomplish just that.
The idea that anywhere near 40% of Black people will vote for Trump is insane.
A lot of black men do not like dirty cops. Dirty cops like Comey are trying to frame Trump. Blacks admired Bill Clinton because he was able to stay one step ahead of the law. Whatever the motives, Trump will get a lot more black votes this time around.
Before anybody gets too excited, this same poll shows Trump losing support among white voters. He has 51% approval from whites now, but in 2016 he got 58%.
It appears that you got hit with a bucket of crazy with #17. As I read this thread, I haven’t a clue where that came from.
most white males conservatives refuse to answer polling people so its hard to know the accuracy of the poles.
Thanks for your take. Maybe it’s a “buzzed-post.” They’re fun to make but occasionally get a bit over-wrought. I’m taking it that way until I hear further.

We can also count Kanye, so it’s four. Sheriff David Clarke makes at least five. I’ve been hearing it since before my adult life. I’ll believe it when I see it. I don’t know a single black person who has ever voted for a Republican for any office. Not that they would admit. I think Trump is more popular among black men than most Republicans, but black men aren’t known as high turnout voters. Maybe Trump is that much of a difference maker. I just hope he wins.

There are blacks out there who are starting to realize that the cultural establishment — run by Democrats — has been doing it’s best to ensure that blacks remain their own worst enemies. I know a fair number of them. They tend to be church-going, average-Joe blacks, rather than movie stars, sports celebrities, or college “educated” secular black women.

Blacks are smart. They realize the democrats are only using them to gain power for themselves. Republican values are FAR more in tune with the best interests of black people than are those of the left (if you can even call left-wing “values” values).
Of course, We can win without the black vote anyway. It would just be so nice to also demolish the left in the process.
I agree with you. I think projecting 40% is insane.
But what if its 20%? Just half of that. That is still disastrous for the Democrats.
I can possibly see the Black vote increase from 8% to 12%, mostly from Black males because they see Trump as an “alpha male”.
