EXCLUSIVE: Former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page filed a lawsuit Thursday in federal court against the Democratic National Committee, law firm Perkins Coie and its partners tied to the funding of the unverified dossier that served as the basis for highly controversial surveillance warrants against him. The suit was filed in U.S. District Court in the Northern District of Illinois Eastern Division Thursday morning, and was described by his attorneys as the first of multiple actions in the wake of historic Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) abuse. You go, girl.
Burn ‘Em Down Baby
Take no prisoners, sir.
Well played.
Good! Go after them like a shark on the blood scent
ALL THE WAY TO DISCOVERY
Make Crimes Illegal Again
Seems like a “congressional investigation” should be appropriate for what was done to Carter Page.
I won’t hold my breath.
Page does not have the resources to pursue this case, unfortunately. And he’s not naming the defendant properly, he will NEVER be able to show a connection between the DNC and the FBI which targeted him via FISA warrant. (this is assuming the article is propely reporting the case he filed, which is a stupid assumption on my part but at least it doesn’t cost anything) It’s just dumb, he’s gonna waste a towering s**tload of money on a case that will be thrown out in mere minutes.
Could not happen to a better bunch.
See below. It might not be costing Carter Page a dime. Everything might be contingent on the settlement.
John has successfully handled contingent and alternative fee matters, often working with third party litigation funders who assist individual and corporate clients to finance large, meritorious plaintiff-side claims.
John M. Pierce is a trial lawyer and Global Managing Partner of Pierce Bainbridge Beck Price & Hecht LLP. He was described by Benchmark Plaintiff Litigation 2012 as “one of the most esteemed jury trial lawyers” at the world’s largest business litigation law firm, and The Legal 500 United States 2015 praised his “real trial presence.” In 2008, he won two multi-million dollar jury verdicts within a span of two months, including the 67th highest jury verdict in the United States in 2008 as determined by the VerdictSearch Top 100 list, as well as a victory in a major film financing trial in Los Angeles featured in The Hollywood Reporter.
Nor will I. Everyone below Donald Trump is suspect as far as I'm concerned, and 99.9 percent of them are beyond merely "suspect." Government is hopelessly corrupt and the President is outnumbered with only five short years to make a dent in it.
Acquittal tomorrow? What a sad joke. They'll begin new impeachment proceedings on Monday. They'll never stop. Republicans in Congress will never lift a finger to interfere.
Carter Page? They'll be whipping up new Carter Pages by the trainload, why shouldn't they?
Little would please me more the seeing Page kick ass at the DNC, I hope that is understood.
OK, he has competent help as representation. Excellent! I believe he filed a suit in pro per (representing himself) not long ago that didn’t get past the courtroom front door.
I am beginning to think that the DEMOCRATS will be Found out!!!
Dossier is what started it all via Klinton,Kenyan and other Swamp coup members.
He was a Naval intelligence, CIA asset, with Russian connections. He was provided by the CIA to the FBI for the precise purpose of letting them FISA spy on tens of thousands of people. He joined the campaign for that reason only. He dutifully constantly reported Russian contacts to the campaign.
He hid his CIA connection all through the Mueller campaign. That smirking ass was a plant. The FBI knew who he was, and he knew his purpose.
He just managed to land on his feet. But the plan was that Trump would lose 2016 and nobody would have ever heard his name.
Does anyone think it’s suspicious that Mueller and Weissman only looked at Page for a day and found nothing wrong. If you are smoking weed, and the cops come and arrest everyone except one person, there’s a reason.
Page is no hero. He was a CIA mole and part of the coup.
“Seems like a congressional investigation should be appropriate for what Carter Page did. WHo he reported to an the FBI. How he came to be involved in the campaign. Why Mueller and Weissman glanced at him and said nothing wrong with him when everyone else gets the rectal exam back to 3rd grade.
Why he always smirks when asked what his mission was.
“U.S. District Court in the Northern District of Illinois Eastern Division”
Think anything is going to happen in the corrupt state of IL?
His case won’t see the light of day.
