Michael Bloomberg is using his $10 million Super Bowl ad to highlight the work he has done to combat gun violence and enact stricter gun control laws.
The ad will air Sunday as counter-programming to President Donald Trump's ad spot and his pre-game interview with Sean Hannity on FOX.
The combatting ads will both air for 60 seconds, but instead of Bloomberg unveiling an attack ad, like has been reported, the spot will feature a mother who lost her son to gun violence.
The focus underscores the former Republican New York City mayor's efforts to contrast himself with Trump.

Little Flower wilted.
hypocrites on the left scream about ‘sensible gun laws’ apparently indicating none of the gun laws already on the books are ‘sensible’- but these same liberals turn right around and make it a crime to call someone a gender they don’t identify as in their mental illness- they do away with bail for violent crimes- they pay people to ‘not commit crimes’- they throw out prosecutions of thefts under $1000 dollars- on and on it goes- all NONSENSE laws that actually put people’s lives at risk-
Bloomberg is unacceptable to the vast majority of voters. Arrogance. Arrogance. Arrogance.
How about tommy boy styro? Pretty sick of him as well.
Oh wah... they should feature hundreds of thousands who have lost loved ones to drunk illegal aliens.
The Superbowl fans are more the red meat type and will NOT take well to these ads.....
If he wanted to contrast, he just did....More people will run from him.....
For a bright guy, this was a stupid purchase
Bloomberg...bloomberg....where have I heard that name before...?
Oooh yeah. The guy that hates Christians worse than he hates guns....Yeah, yeah....I remember that guy now!

Keep wasting it Little Mikey.
For whatever reason I have not seen one of his ads. Lucky me!!! I understand he was blitzing early primary states to get on the debate stage.
In the meantime, there are 2 freak show Tranny ads scheduled and theyve turned down an ad focusing on abortion survivors.
No such thing as gun violence. Guns are inanimate objects incapable of action. People, on the other hand...

Middle-eastern midgets for Mini-Mike agree...
The Super Bowl would be better if the just banned all ads.
Great.
Will they say just *how* the killer obtained his gun?
I'll wager a couple of things.
It wasn't an NRA member.
Probably wasn't obtained legally.
It was likely someone with a history of violence.
They probably were a felon, who shouldn't have had a gun in the first place. In EVERY jurisdiction in America.
There's a good chance it was a gang-banger.
Maybe an innocent victim of a drive-by.
(Not sure Mikey wants to go THAT route, as it will be a person of color.)
Before the tragic boating accident, I used to sit and clean my guns, during the super bowl. I really miss those days!
I’ll be glad when Mini-Mike and his master, Satan, are united for eternity. Yes, Satan will find another patsy, but at least this one will be gone permanently.
If science ever figures out how to clone a mind and transfer it into another body then we’re all screwed because these bad actors who have the funds to do it; will live forever.
I stopped watching the Super Bowl, in fact pretty much all pro ball of whatever flavor, many years ago. Instead, this is now a scheduled firearm maintenance day, whether needed or not. Not a violent on in the battery.
