We NEED a good two weeks, at least, with no rain but I don’t see that happening. We’re happy to get what dry stretches we can, even if they’re short.
And I certainly don’t mind a few days with 60s for the beginning of February. LOL
We need to put our thinking caps on to figure out how to redirect some of our rain down to ya’ll! If this February is like last year’s, we’re in trouble.
Shock of shocks...today went amazingly well. If you can’t make corrections, why look for mistakes?? d:o)
That left me time to really concentrate on garnishments..it was good.
Welcome home, Daddy!! ((HUGS)) Thanks, Luv.
Thanks, txnativegop, for helping honor our troops, past and present.
You are welcome, Kathy
Wonder of wonders!!!!! Not something we hear very often, especially on pay week! LOL
Glad you had a good day for a change. It should happen more often.
Would you believe it is 25.9 at my house right now?
HEAT WAVE!!! Are you in shorts and flip flops? LOL
I’ll jump on it. :-)
LOL!! Not to worry about typos.
I hope all this rain will help in case y’all have a long dry spell this summer like you did last year.
It’s so dry now that if I wake up in the middle of the night my mouth is as dry as if I had been given drugs before surgery. That’s even when I’ve drunk water before sleeping. I hate it.
Shorts? yes, but still socks. It’s not THAT warm. LOL!
How's everyone doing this morning?
The rain will get the water table way up and that’s good for those of us with wells. But it won’t help the crops if we have a long dry spell later in the summer.
Right now, we need a lot less rain. Actually a long dry stretch so the area farmers will be able to prep the fields for spring planting.
Ugh on the bad cases of dry mouth you’re dealing with at night. :-(
OMG! You ARE wearing shorts???!! Not the answer I expected. LOL
I’m not wearing shorts these days but am wearing flip flops in the house. It’s nice to be in a house that’s comfortable enough to be able to do that now. I’d be in layers and wearing heavy socks and shoes in the other house.
Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
Was the weather a little more pleasant so you and Gizmo could enjoy your outing a bit more? Not a lot of fun outside when it’s blustery and chilly.
Yeah, they would have a nasty time of it trying to work the fields as soggy as they are.
I just looked at the temp. I didn’t realize it was down to 37. LOL! It didn’t feel that chilly when I fed the kitties at 8pm. Imagine my surprise.
They’d sink so deep in the mud, they’d have a heck of a time ever getting out. I won’t even step out into the fields right now. I made that mistake several years ago after a long wet stretch. Took one step and sank almost to my knee. If I’d had both feet in the muck, I’d have been in trouble. Had a heck of a time getting the one foot out. Years and years of plowing make the fields almost like quicksand in these conditions.
You’re a little cooler than we are right now, but not by much. It didn’t feel too bad, though, when I stepped outside a little while ago because there’s no wind.
Hope you feel better soon.
