You’d have elites deliberately causing regions to secede so that they would be more and more over-represented in the Senate.
Yeah, it would turn into a free for all that would spiral into complete tyranny.
E.g., PA would split into 3 states, 2 left, 1 right. VA splits into 3 states, 2 leftist, 1 right. CA splits into 20 states, 19 peoples’ republics, 1 hold out awaiting a mass flood from the other peoples’ republic..
See the pattern??? It will not work out the way conservatives think it will. Although an exception could be made for VA-WV due to the history of the state(s).
