This is to anyone. I didn't vote for him because of his character, I voted for him because he could do the job.
I haven never cast a vote for her, and there's no way in hell I'd start.
If Klobuchar, Bernie, and Warren were smart they’d vote to acquit and end this farce. The trio of candidates should tell the public that there are no grounds for impeachment and they intend to beat Trump at the ballot box. If witnesses are called there’ll be no campaigning for weeks.
They’ll demand a secret vote and then anything can happen. I wouldn’t even trust Graham’s vote if he could do it in secret

Actually, they should recuse. It gives them the appearance of Statesmanship. (Plus that Bennet guy from CO.)
The problem is with the usual suspects.
They can simply recuse themselves.

Actually, that explains it -- I think she listened to AlanDersh, who she knows very well socially, and Pam Bondi, and came away with a briefly reflective, introspective moment.
And then Schumer called and threatened to censure her.
They CAN recuse themselves. But they never will, of course. I’d like to see Senate Leader McConnell ask them to recuse themselves and see their responses. Then ask for a vote to demand their recusal (a vote in which they would not be allowed to vote). I know, I know, my head is filled with fantasies.
But recusal would seem far more logical than many of the recusals the Dems have demanded (and gotten) from GOP.
That doesn’t mean she won’t salt the ground behind her.
Power is a very addictive drug.
Why? Does she feel Durham breathing down her neck? Does she need some dumbarse Republican to come to her rescue? If true you can bet she has an ulterior motive!

True. Many of the Senate Dems are smart enough to know what they’re doing has no legal basis. Heck, they even argued against their current positions during the Clinton impeachment. But they’re all part of a political machine that puts political self interest above all else.
Hummm. June is just a few months away.. She is aged out, but I never heard that she is not running again...I'm sure she is...she wants to pass in office like old Eli Cummings did, and the dude in NC...another democrat with stage 4th Pancreatic Cancer refuses to resign, and is getting treatment and NOT working...smh...they are all alike...
