[How do we know how many people got better at home and didn’t see a doctor?

That may be a huge factor in China. I get the impression that many believe in magic (aka Chinese herbs) and will only go to a real doctor at a point when it would have saved everyone a lot of time and trouble if they had gone directly to the undertaker.

Well when I got the bronchitis, you feel so sick that walking to the door, no less going to the doctor seems like climbing a mountain.

And the idiotic thinking goes that it will pass and the 10 minute ride to the doctor isn’t worth THE REST OF MY LIFE!

Anyhow, I sincerely hope not many more die in China.

But I fear they will.
