Roy Moore lost because of Roy Moore. Stop making excuses. Trump had the media pile onto him even harder and he won. Won in Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin. Moore failed in Alabama.
I submit the republiCon leadership didn't do much to help Trump either.
We are lucky to have Trump today, but it isn't because the GOPe and the RNC went full tilt in for him.
Moore didn't get trounced. He lost by a margin that was less than comfortable for the demoncRat.
The margin was 1.65%. He lost by 21,924 votes out of 1,325,868 votes cast.
He had republiCon Congressional members and if I remember correctly, some leaders too, trashing him.
Trump didn't endorse him either until the 4th of December when the election was to be held on the 12th.
Here's a report of Mitch McConnell's sterling endorsement.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said Sunday that Moore will be sworn in as a senator if he wins on Dec. 12, saying he would "let the people of Alabama decide." In November, McConnell stood by Moore's accusers, saying "I believe the women," and calling on the candidate to "step aside" from the race. LINK
Trump is an exceptional man. Roy Moore is an ordinary one. Claiming that an ordinary man is unworthy because he cannot work the magic of an extraordinary man is just wrong.
You stop making excuses for the media liars, because they have f***ed us up a lot more than anything Roy Moore ever did. They are the primary enemy of fixing the nation, and until we smash that propaganda system and replace it with something resembling fairness, we are never going to fix what is wrong with this country.
