I think that even the Democrats think that 2020 is a long shot. They will either offer up a sacrificial lamb (Biden, Sanders, even Hillary) or make a Hail Mary play (I guess Oprah or the Mooch). The 2024 players want to be close, but not get the nomination. That would be Gabbard or Buttigieg. Not sure where Warren fits in. Too old for a fresh face. Probably a sacrificial lamb to get her off the power broker’s backs.
