Josh Hawley, R-Mo., said on “Fox & Friends” on Monday that if witnesses are allowed in President Trump’s Senate impeachment trial, then lead House impeachment manager Adam Schiff, D-Calif., former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter, as well as the whistleblower should all be called to testify.
“If my colleagues and others decide, you know what, we have got to have witnesses, then let's call everybody who is going to be relevant,” said Hawley, who serves on the Senate Judiciary Committee.
“This isn't just about [former national security adviser] John Bolton. This should be about the whistleblower, Adam Schiff, Hunter Biden -- let’s hear from them all.”
Hawley made the comments hours before President Trump's impeachment legal team was expected to resume their defense arguments.

The WH should block Bolton while the Senate invokes "The Senate shall have sole power to try all impeachments" and then remind Americans of everything the Democrats said that they had sole power over in the House and then declare that they are going to do the same thing to Democrats that was done to them to prove a point to Americans that Democrats don't care about the law, they only care about impeaching to win.
Remind them of how Schumer in 1999 said that Senate trials of impeachment are political in nature just like impeachments are.
Make Biden, Adam Schiff, Pelosi, the whistleblower, all of them testify.
If they say no hold them in contempt. If Republicans are asked why they are being held in contempt tell the U.S this is urgent like Pelosi said and that this needs to be done quickly.
Some will say that there is a box that the Senate is held within in what it can and can't do but Democrats didn't act like there was a box they were held within. I don't know if should be done, but the Senate can make them testify and deny them counsel along the way as Schifty did. And ask Romney why he was so quiet when Schifty was doing this.
Had enough of being told that you have to bake them a cake and that you have to call them by their personal pronouns and so on and on and on?
If Romney and others play games, held them to what Hawley purposes.

WH has to block Bolton and protect the office or else there is no end to it.

Based upon the power that Democrats said that they had under the House has sole power, the Senate then under the removal part of the clause where it says “The Senate shall have sole power to try impeachments” has just as much power.
Democrats argued they had unlimited power and one lady Democrat even said they didn’t have to go to the Supreme Court of the United States as was done in Nixon’s time they could just hold Trump accountable under Obstruction of Congress.
Time to put Democrats under the proverbial cop heat lamps.

The more I hear about Hawley, the more important I understand that his victory over Air Claire McCaskill was more than just flipping one senate seat. This guy looks like he is going to be exceptional.

If they want to call one witness, why shouldn’t we call 3? We control the Senate. Just say we are countering the lack of reciprocity in the House.
I really don’t think call the Biden’s is necessary during this trial, though. You shouldn’t have to prove that there was corruption to defend against looking at corruption. You should only have to prove that a reasonable person suspected corruption. And the Biden tape more than justifies that.
By the Senate blocking Bolton Dems will then try to get the Supreme Court to intervene but then the gig will be up because Americans will then say why didn’t you do this before instead of going after that trumped-up charge of Obstruction of Congress?
And then Americans will say the argument that you couldn’t do this then because Pelosi was in a rush turns out Pelosi was in no rush and it was not urgent because during impeachment Democrats took a month off, then 2 weeks, then 10 days, and then Pelosi sat on it.
Democrats will be exposed fully...
Do it for the raw exercise of power that the Democrats did n the house even if it’s to prove a point and then if Americans don’t like it, it will provide justification for finally once and for all gutting the impeachment and removal clause because it has gotten out of control.

Then McConnel and others would declare behind the scenes they were going to move towards there were no grounds for a trial as every Republican would not go against that as those 4 goose would be coked with the 90% of repubs that stand with Trump.
