The president’s defense today renders the bolton point moot. What if the president was blowing off steam about the bidens?
1. They did nothing about it. The usa didn’t and the ukrainians didn’t.
2. The president is allowed to hold money to fight corruption.
3. The transcript shows no deal.
Sad that the talking heads will still be shouting Bolton and just ignore the facts. I hate these people.
I think it is sort of relevant to the case. The only reason Trump was targeted is he dared to target Biden...oh well.

He’s really not making any kind of presentation that Patrick Philbin can’t make, and Philbin is a much better orator.
Reid also went to the microphones and made the Democrats' position statements himself, just like Schumer does.
McConnell does not go out and speak for the Republicans, which frees them all to speak for themselves.
If McConnell made the initial press statements, he would be daring the other Republicans to contradict their leader.
That's all that McConnell needs to do, that is, speak first, but he won't do even that.

In a real court, ambush or surprise witness are prohibited. Its considered both bad faith and a violation of due process.
You must stick to what’s been agreed to. But Democrats and their captive media act like the rules don’t apply to them.
And the President’s Dream Team re Bolton, doesn’t want to legitimize, let alone reward, this kind of conduct.

It’s a lot easier to do an impachment without due process. If the senate steps in and plays the part of impeachment investigator, tries to correct due process deficiencies from the House,k then that becomes the new normal, and the senate is going to have to accomodate that work - thre will be lots of impeachments going forward.

I just saw a clip this morning of Nadler and some other Dems at a presser. As he arrived and took his place, he appeared to be brushing crumbs off his tie.
