On a related point, how can Bolton discuss conversations with Trump in his book without violating various privileges that Trump holds, without a waiver by Trump?
Also, why would Bolton submit anything to an NSC that is infiltrated by anti-Trump forces?

Every day Juan Williams claims that the Dem-heavy-sample Fox poll says that removal of Trump is more popular than acquittal. He assumed that none of the Fox people would challenge the Fox poll. But today Dagen MacDowell corrected him on air, saying the poll aggregate shows that conviction is under water.
MacDowell is funny. She said one of Hillary's tweets was like posting a butt selfie.
And as I suggested in this scenario, what if what really happened is that President Trump asked Bolton "What would happen if I conditioned the release of aid on a promise by Ukraine to investigate corruption," and Bolton (or his ghost-writer) hyperbolized that (for dramatic effect) in his book by saying that Trump "wanted" to condition release of the aid, but that Bolton talked Trump out of it?
