Sen. Mike Braun, R-Ind., said on Sunday that he hopes undergoing impeachment and the trial in the Senate will be instructive for President Trump.
Brauns comments came during a contentious back-and-forth with moderator Chuck Todd on NBCs Meet The Press, where Todd told the Indiana lawmaker that Trump "is going to take acquittal and think, 'I can keep doing this,'"
"No, I don't think that," Braun replied. "Hopefully, it'll be instructive."
"I think he'll put two and two together," the Indiana Republican added. "In this case, he was taken to the carpet."

Keep doing what, exactly???? Thats a when did you stop beating your wife kind of question.
“I think I hate the GOP more than the democrats..what fools”
That’s me since the early 1990s.
Sen. Mike Braun, R-Ind. needs some instruction on how to extract his Hotel from his Alpha.
We can’t be overt Trump supporters around here - cars get trashed!
HST, you are right - Trump is a Clear and Present Danger to the Inside the Evil Beltway Elites, and his re-election will end their reign of terror over the poor suffering American taxpayer!
We can criticize his choice of language here but Braun replaced Donkey Donnelly, and Donnelly's ACU rating was ZERO in 2017. ZERO. At least Braun averages mid-high 80s.
Also consider that Braun’s babooning statement may gaslight some independents into actually believing what Braun says; meanwhile Braun just took himself out of any Cabinet slot in Trump’s 2nd term. Really that’s a win-win.
Theres nothing I hate more than a Todd.
I went on his FB page and made a few cryptic comments.
What your are talking about is exactly what I thought was meant when he said “instructive”. You cannot leave your sworn enemies in place in the administration. I was sincerely hoping that Trump would sack every person who was appointed by Obama. Not that I really trust the ones appointed by Clinton or either Bush.
