WASHINGTON, DC — The Federal Bureau of Investigation is reviewing claims Rep. Ilhan Omar married her brother, The Post has learned.
Two FBI agents held an hours-long meeting in Minnesota in mid-October with a concerned party who handed over a trove of documents regarding Omar’s 2009 marriage to Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, a source with knowledge of the event said.
At the meeting, first reported by website The Blaze, the agents discussed concerns the Somali-born Democrat married Elmi, a British citizen rumored to be her brother, so he could obtain a green card and study in America, the source said.

she’s been in office how long now? People knew she married her brother way back when- It’s great they are finally investigating (However, I suspect they will find ‘no evidence of wrongdoing, like they usually do when mountains of incriminating evidence are staring them in the face- but we’ll see) why are they only investigating now?
Is it too much to ask that headline writers just reflect what is actually in the article, instead of always sexing it up for clickbait purposes?
Or, we just couldn't prove anything illegal happened.
So I guess we can all sleep soundly, knowing that the Bureau is on the job.

Lawyer at firm subcontracted by FBI (feet on office desk): "Boy my billable hours are really piling up. Even to scratch the surface will take months or years."
FBI division boss: "No. Trump sent the word down. It's by the job and we'll have a time limit or FBI funding gets cut. If they audit the FBI for this I'll see to it you're sorry."
