Here’s what we know – or think we know – about the new coronavirus: China has claimed that, in Wuhan, which is Ground Zero for the virus, 1,975 people have confirmed cases of coronavirus, with 324 in critical condition, and that 56 people have died. In addition, there are 2,684 suspected cases. The virus is a relative of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (or SARS), another coronavirus virus that hit in 2002. Experts are currently saying that the new virus is not as severe as the 2002 outbreak, although it may be more contagious. So far, that’s not too bad.
But here’s what we also know: China has quarantined more than 35 million people and stopped all travel in or out of Wuhan during the busy Chinese New Year season. China has also announced that it plans to build a 1,000-bed hospital within a week to treat coronavirus. Those stories either indicate that China is taking very seriously its responsibility to its people and to the world at large to stop an inconvenient and somewhat dangerous virus from spreading or it means that the Chinese government is scared and panicking.
One nurse in China says it’s the latter. The nurse, wearing heavy protective garb that hides her identity, has published a video claiming that 90,000 people have the coronavirus in Wuhan
I am here to tell the truth. At this moment, Hubei Province (including the Wuhan area), even China, 90,000 people have been infected by corona virus so far.
How much do you know about corona virus? If a person who is infected with coronavirus, if you can’t isolate someone who is infected with the virus, if you can’t make the right treatment to them,

This protest seemed to be off target/track unless the protesters know something we don’t know.
Good point.
Access to soap and water is a must...
thanks.
The difference is that we will come up with a cure. Then Trump needs to tell China he wants a better trade deal if they want the serum!
You’re gonna need a hazmat suit. Where are you going to dispose of the mask and how are you going to take it off? How about goggles. How about your hair that’s been sneezed on? Did you drive back home in the car? I’m guessing you don’t have a decontamination unit at the back door.

Good and valid questions!
Our contractor has had some of his customers call about installing an outside shower by their carport or garage/driveway so they and family members can take a shower after being exposed or possibly exposed while being away from their homes.
At first he laughed. Now, he is looking at installing hot water heaters on demand for these showers. Our local cold water temp is about 45 degrees. Which is a little numbing.
He can install washers/dryers by the showers to wash the possible exposed clothing.
We will probably be seeing ads for home decontamination centers on tv and in next Sunday Fishwrap home ads th
So very true your words are. I see disgusting hygiene at work with upper middle class engineers that its what I worry about. You comment puts a reality on it all. Other peoples hygiene is a big issue.
Or how many people had the menu before it was handed to you. Don’t know why, but I always think about that.
The Flu will also propagate that way..been seeing a lot of scare stories w/o any solid proof yet it is much different than the Flu - death comes from secondary pneumonia.
Good point.
