Several senators running for president are reportedly mulling using private jets to campaign in Iowa as they try to balance their White House bids with the ongoing impeachment trial in Washington.
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) are both thought to be considering chartering flights to Iowa after Saturday’s impeachment proceedings wrap up, while Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) has also not made her travel plans clear, The Associated Press reported.
The three senators are facing a unique dilemma in the leadup to the Feb. 3 caucuses in Iowa as the impeachment trial keeps them tied to Washington six days a week, leaving little time to campaign in early states.
Private flights could pose risks for Sanders and Warren, the AP noted, as the two leading progressives have railed against privileges afforded to the elite and eschewed contacts with high-dollar donors.
The two senators have also touted themselves as advocates for intensified efforts to combat climate change, while the use of private jets has been criticized as environmentally unfriendly.

It’s almost like this whole impeachment cluster was intentionally scheduled to prevent the socialist senators from campaigning during the primaries. But that’s too paranoid to believe.

If their crappy voters actually cared about "privileges afforded the elite" -- they would've been out of office years ago over a hundred other things. The fact is, Leftists only care about what conservatives do and say, even if they have to make up some "offense" to complain about it.
Perhaps they will “share” one chartered plane and have the lapdog media report it as a huge win.
Good grief. Private jets cause more pollution than the Greyhound, but so what?

I have no problem with any Presidential candidate flying private...But, Alinsky Rule 4 explicitly states “Make the Enemy live up to their own book of rules.”

the use of so-called “carbon offsets” simply reinforces the elitism of these hypocrites because only the elite an afford private jet flight AND the added expense of pretend reduction of their so-called “carbon footprint” ...
