Democrats' claim that the Trump administration broke America's promise to protect Ukraine from Russia by withholding military aid is just an example of the party's hypocrisy, Sen. Joni Ernst, R-Iowa, claimed Thursday.
"The Democratic House Managers’ hypocrisy is on full display," Ernst wrote on Twitter on Thursday evening, after Day 3 of Trump's Senate impeachment trial. "They’ve spent most of their time lecturing the Senate on aid to Ukraine, yet four of them voted AGAINST legislation that provided the very same aid they’re lecturing us on."

I believe the 2020 election will be a bloodbath similar to what happened in Britain. If the GOP would adopt an "every State, every district" strategy (they say they will, but won't), I could see them gaining huge in the House and even picking up seats in the Senate (making it RINO-proof).

This is a big deal because Ernst was a prime candidate to backstab the President. Even though she’s up for reelection, I believe she is genuinely angry at Dems and even at some RINOs based on this and several other of her interviews.
That phone better be re-elected. I swear that some FREEPERS like you are working hard to give the senate to the democrats. It so stupid and you did this with the house in 2018.

Nice to hear but about 3 months too late.
These facts were widely known. The GOP could not have been less interested in follow them until now. Now why could that be? Obviously now there is no pressure on the GOP Senate to gather facts and defend POTUS with Trump’s team doing the heavy lifting. I think what is going on here is Ernst is giving cover to herself and her fellow GOP Senators who are about to vote to acquit.
