I take this kind of thing seriously as I had a young relative fall dead from a little flu. Sepsis.
Had she been to China and had coronavirus and died in December they probably still wouldn’t have understood it to be from that.
It would have been Flu.

In the US there are about 637,000 deaths in winter months, 574,000 in summer months. Granted a lot of those are older people. But some are younger. The difference is mainly respiratory illness.
