Face of impeachment: Schiff sets tone with appeals to Senate
The Associated Press ^ | January 24, 2020 | By MARY CLARE JALONICK

In the otherwise scripted impeachment trial, it was a rare spontaneous moment: Sen. Lindsey Graham, one of President Donald Trump’s chief defenders, stopped Rep. Adam Schiff, the lead prosecutor, to shake his hand and compliment him on his arguments for Trump’s removal.

Schiff is the face of the House’s impeachment case against Trump, which has made him the principal target of Trump’s ire. Though he has six managers by his side, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi appointed Schiff, her confidant, as the lead impeachment manager. He is setting the tone of the prosecution’s case.

“In a way I do feel like I’m introducing myself to a number of the senators,” Schiff said in an interview with The Associated Press before arguments resumed on Thursday. He said many of them are familiar only with conservative criticism of him, and they are “finding I’m not the demon that I’m portrayed as on Fox.”

Schiff, who represents parts of Hollywood, has been a frequent target of conservatives since the then GOP-led House Intelligence Committee started investigating Trump’s ties to Russia in the 2016 election. He was frequently on television questioning Trump’s actions.

The criticism intensified, though, when Democrats took the House majority in early 2019 and he became chairman of the intelligence panel. And it reached a full-on roar as he took charge of the impeachment investigation of Trump’s dealings with Ukraine last fall.

Trump has trained his ire on the congressman on Twitter and elsewhere, alternatively calling him “shifty,” “sleazy,” and “liddle.” He has also turned his name into a vulgarity, occasionally calling him “Schitt” on Twitter, and dubbed him “pencil neck” at a campaign rally. Trump tweeted about Schiff only a handful of times in 2017 and 2018, but hundreds of times since Democrats gained the House majority.

Trump’s team is going to make mincemeat of this guy, and I believe a major tool will be his “official” words over the last few days.

PAVNG THE WAY FOR NANZI: Schiff Goes for Total Coup, Now Targeting Pence in Impeachment Effort
westernjournal.com ^ | 12/27/2019 | jared harris / FR Posted by bitt

.....looks like (on orders from Nanzi) Adam Schiff is hinting that he’s going for a total sweep of the White House by involving the vice president as well. The move would seemingly put Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, in charge.

Schiff hinted at the bombshell turn in a Dec. 18 talk with MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow. Maddow asked Schiff about his continuing role in the impeachment of President Donald Trump

MADDOW: “You seem to still be pulling on some threads here, including some potentially provocative and consequential ones,” she said. “I’m thinking specifically about a letter that you sent to the vice president’s office this week in which you raise questions as to what the vice president knew about the president’s behavior, the president’s scheme in Ukraine, and thereby essentially his potential involvement in any coverup of that behavior by the president.

“Sen. Lindsey Graham, one of President Donald Trump’s chief defenders, stopped Rep. Adam Schiff, the lead prosecutor, to shake his hand and compliment him on his arguments for Trump’s removal.”

Why would he do that??? The man is a documented liar, a raging vile partisan who is virtually devoid of scruples or professional dignity.

He is the most disgusting example of a politician in this country (and that’s saying something) yet Graham feels it necessary to praise him. What a complete d’bag!

Adam Schiff Writes Screenplays On The Side — Including One About The Holocaust

This week’s Fun Fact comes courtesy of Rep. Adam Schiff, who shared in his New Yorker profile that not only is he a movie buff (and often quotes “The Big Lebowski”), but also he writes screenplays on the side.

There seemed to be more than a tinge of regret in the California congressman’s voice when he recalled the story of his first screenplay, a pre-Holocaust story called “Remnant.”

“I had an agent at William Morris tell me it was good but no one would want to see it — too depressing,” he explained. “Then ‘Schindler’s List’ came out, and I was, like, ‘Come on!’”

He continued on. He wrote the next one while a prosector, a murder-mystery called “Minotaur,” which he said was almost accepted by Hollywood standards. But, he has high hopes for his third.

“It’s a spy drama,” he said. “That one is a work in progress.”

At this point i’m just wondering what the American people will do if/when the President is removed from office. This Shampeachment has gotten this far simply because of the weakness and treachery of the GOP.

When not in front of a camera, Graham agrees with every word Schiff says about President Trump and removing him from Office. Schiff’s words and actions are Graham’s thoughts. President Trump should be very wary of Graham. Anytime Graham pats him on the back, he is just feeling for a soft spot to stick the knife.

Southern gentility is why. That's part of Graham's good side.

What Graham (whom I've never been a particularly big fan of myself, just in case you should ax), was really saying to him was, "I am SO going to publicly kick your ******* ass and humiliate you and expose you for the fraud and the crook that you are... bless your heart."

I mean, why not at least be nice to the guy when he passes him in the hall?
