Climate change advisers call for steeper air travel tax to reforest country

Air travel should be taxed more and EU funds redirected to pay for a dramatic reforesting of Britain’s countryside, the government’s climate change advisers have recommended.

Farmers should be incentivised to plant 100 million new trees a year and consumers encouraged to eat a fifth less lamb, beef and dairy to cut sheep and cattle grazing by 10 per cent, the Committee on Climate Change has said.

No connection between air travel and “reforestation.” The forests of Britain were devastated in the 17th and 18th centuries to build the Royal Navy, and merchant ships. So the social justice correct approach is to take the money from the Royal Navy and the merchant fleet.

Oh by the way, I have so many damn trees on my property that they grow like weeds. The black locust are the worst. Great firewood, burn hot as hell. I welcome one and all onto my property to cut firewood.

So the climate control freaks want to eliminate CO2 which plants require to survive thereby killing all plant life on earth which in turn will suffocate all living creatures dependent on the air they breathe. This means the climate control freaks will have to allow some CO2. How much exactly? I need to know this so I can save the planet. /s
