Illinois lawmakers are raising questions about the integrity of state elections after the secretary of state admitted hundreds of non-citizens were registered as voters, and could have cast ballots illegally in the 2018 election.
In a letter, Secretary of State Jesse White’s office said a “programming error” in a signature pad at driver services facilities led to hundreds of non-U.S. citizens accidentally being registered as voters.
The Secretary of State’s Office said the problem has been fixed Tuesday, but state lawmakers and election authorities are just beginning to raise concerns.
“We view it as a significant problem," said Matt Dietrich of the Illinois State Board Of Elections.
In 2017, then-governor Bruce Rauner signed the “Automatic Voter Registration” bill into law. It requires eligible Illinois citizens to be automatically registered to vote when they apply for or renew a driver's license or ID, unless they choose to opt out.

“We discovered an error, and we fixed it. And then we notified the State Board of Elections and the local election authorities and the individuals that were impacted," they said in the statement.

Yup, always a “glitch” when it concerns the Thug party
They know they’re not citizens. They know they can’t vote.
Why are they registering at all?
What part of “eligible” do they not understand?
If they immediately admit to “hundreds”, I bet the final tally will be in the thousands.

Back in the day, a different Jesse White was the Maytag repairman. He’d say that Maytags never had to be repaired.
I had a used Maytag a few years ago (bought on Craigslist) - on that model anyway, you needed a special tool to even open it up, even for something simple like a belt.
It was easier to go on Craigslist and buy another used dryer.
“Glitch”
It doesn’t matter that much for the Presidential vote but all other seats that could go Republican in Illinois would be in jeapordy. Don’t expect the Secretary of state to try and fix the situation anytime soon.

Probably the same glitch that maintains democrat ratios greater than 50% in voting machines.
Illinois corruption, fraud, scandal, voting irregularities, governor, oh my. Who could believe that. Mayor Daley is rolling in his grave.

A majority of states have purchased Soros owned company voting machines over the past few years.
What could go wrong?
Any bets on what percentage of these foreign nationals that registered to vote are Russian?
That is the motivation politicians had for initiating motor voter registration. It is a system that invites fraud at all levels, the registrant, the civil servant reviewing the documents and the programmers that can create code no one else sees.
