downtown Seattle is lawless.... with violent thugs, junkies and bums everywhere.
the dyke mayor and the affirmative action police chief are worthless, they can’t even protect the courthouse downtown.
and these are the same idiots trying to take away your guns.
I keep thinking that if the Senators have to listen to Adam Schiff much longer, I fear there is going to be a mass shooting in the chamber and chief justice Roberts will be holding the gun.
Right on cue now that the state legislature is following Virginia’s lead to ban all guns...
Probable government hirelings to facilitate government actions.
Might even be professional .... run by the FBI!
from scanner feed listed above: Police now dealing with mass casualty scene. 7 shot downtown (including child), 2 suspects were chased into a subway tunnel and escaped. (32 minutes ago)
Or a Bernie staffer.
I was a block away at Westlake Center when it happened. Third shooting in the area in the last 24 hours. Yesterday someone was shot and killed at Westlake Center. Today there was an instant response to this shooting because an hour earlier two blocks away there was an officer involved shooting. Listening to KOMO 1000 am in Seattle, their man on the scene is being told that two men were walking down the street arguing when they started shooting at each other. They are still looking for both men.
That’s Pioneer Square in Portland.
We had a place in Pioneer Square in Seattle for a long time (main home in Portland) and sold the Seattle one a few years ago - it got to be a nasty neighborhood - although really fun to be there when the Seahawks won the Super Bowl.
I worked at Amazon for a while and took the bus from King Street station up to Whole Foods. The people I saw shocked me - that city has is just behind SF - another beautiful city destroyed by liberal policies.
Twenty years ago I walked freely all over that area. Great restaurants and I worked very near 1st and Pine.
The Murder of Kristopher "Kris" Kime was the killing of a 20-year-old Auburn, Washington resident and Highline Community College (Des Moines, Washington) student when he was knocked down and beaten to death during the Seattle Mardi Gras Riots that occurred in Seattle's Pioneer Square district early in the morning of February 28, 2001.
Kime was bending over to help a young woman who was lying on the ground and being attacked. As he bent over, he was struck on the back of his head by Jerell Thomas. He fell onto the pavement and struck his head again. As he lay there, other rioters began to kick him. His friends and others surrounded him to protect him.
As he lay dying in the streets, police officers stood on the sidelines and watched. His friends ran to the police and asked for assistance. The police were instructed they could not enter the riot zone, so they did not intervene. Off-duty fire department workers and his friends carried Kris out of the zone onto a nearby street. He was placed in a police vehicle, driven to Harborview Medical Center, and placed on life support. He died later the following night. The cause of death was listed as resulting from a fractured skull and subdural hematoma.
Dystopia is becoming the American reality. Our side has good intentions but we are feeble.
and this is a bad thing why? Hypothetically.
A lot of scummy Senators would no longer bother us and the wishy-washy Roberts would be gone for mass-murder, allowing Trump to appoint a decent Chief Justice.
IMO win-win
I live in the area, 45 minutes or so from Seattle proper. We used to take family and friends to Pike Place and Pioneer Square and show it off proudly. Now, we avoid it...always. Very sad.
Dang it, I got my Pioneer Squares mixed up!
