Impeachment-weary Trump tees off on ‘sleazebags’ Nadler and Schiff, says he’d ‘love’ to attend trial

President Trump slammed the House impeachment managers prosecuting the case against him as “sleazebags” during an impromptu press conference at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland on Wednesday -- while saying he'd "love" to attend his ongoing Senate trial back home.

In the hastily called press event before Trump was to return to Washington, the president delivered an unsparing assessment of impeachment proceedings, which moved into full swing a day earlier and will resume later Wednesday with opening arguments.

While making clear he's reluctant to approve any new witnesses to testify, he floated -- perhaps playfully -- the idea of personally attending the trial, if only to antagonize the Democrats.

Just imagine Our President, Vice President, Sec. of State, Rudi, Generals, some Military, and his attorneys walk into the chamber and stand in front of the seat where Chief Justice Roberts is sitting and start with pencil neck and ask questions to prove where the information came from, and as each one of these loony libs gets ‘drilled’ the emails, printed, unredacted, meetings, etc. are handed to all the Senators, the Judge, the leaders of the House and Senate and told to read, and when it's all over, they thank everyone for taking up their time and walk out...

Caught a bit of Chuckie at a press briefing. He said that the president’s defense attorneys behaved yesterday like they were on FOX News - positively sickening. Then he turned it over to Patty Murray.. She told us something that we didn’t know - “it’s turning into a partisan battle”... or whatever words she used but PARTISAN was definitely the catch phrase. I don’t believe these people believe their own nonsense but it’s still baffling that they can stand up there and say what they say with straight faces. I have read his books and in one of them he said he has taught all his children that if you set a goal you must never quit until you reach it. No matter the opposition and roadblocks you must keep fighting until you win or have completely run through all options.

This man is one who never folds no matter the opposition. One of his greatest strengths and one not shared by a single politician in my lifetime is his total lack of any fear when dealing with the media. DJT has single handed beaten the press at every turn and taught those that will learn how to become as fearless as he is.
