Former Vice President Joe Bidens presidential campaign on Tuesday released a video purporting to explain what really happened in Ukraine as the campaign pushes back on expected GOP arguments during President Trump's impeachment trial in the Senate.
In the four-minute video, Bidens rapid response director Andrew Bates calls former Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin the embodiment of the corruption that has been hurting Ukraines government for a very long time and cites calls for his firing from the international community and Republican senators.
Joe Biden is the person who got him out of office. It was a monumental, international, bipartisan, anti-corruption victory, Bates says in the video, noting that Sens. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), Rob Portman (R-Ohio) and then-Sen. Mark Kirk (R-Ill.) all signed onto the effort.
The aide called claims by Trump that Bidens efforts to remove Shokin were an attempt to protect his son Hunter Biden from investigation horses---t, noting that Shokins removal was official U.S. policy and that Shokin "wasn't investigating" Burisma, the natural gas company on whose board the younger Biden sat.
The video comes shortly after a memo to media organizations by the Biden campaign calling on journalists not to reference allegations against Biden without also saying they have been debunked.

lol
That was a great tour slogan.
If it was 1950 :)
Joe's behind the times. They have been willingly and dutifully saying EVERYTHING raised by conservatives has been "debunked" for a ten, maybe twenty, years.
"Debunked" has lost it's power, kind of like "Racist" and "Impeach."
So just how clean were those particular GOP senators?
So, in other words, OBAMA wanted him gone because he was probably getting kickbacks of U.S. taxpayer-funded aid from Ukraine as well.
Okay. What was he investigating that the Swamp creatures found so objectionable?
Hmm, seems like something still requires debunking.
How very curious, Pedo Joe.
How about you do your JOB Fake News. Don’t play the campaign ad, just play the video of what Quid Pro Quo Joe actually said.
...was hittin' those free bar drinks pretty hard.
Yup.
Yep. Just say it’s been “debunked” and you are good to go.

In total, Burisma paid additional 180 million hryvnias (US$7.44 million) of taxes to avoid further criminal proceedings...In October 2019, Prosecutor General Ruslan Riaboshapka announced that all 15 investigation cases will be reviewed.[40]

NOTE: The Obamunists (including Groper Joe)are claiming that the reason they wanted Shokin out is because he wasn’t investigating corruption of a company which had a Kerry crony anf Hunter Biden on the Board of Directors.
Doesn’t add up.
So what’s the story about Hunter’s cushy job with lots of money.
If Shokin was corrupt, then he wasn’t investigating something he should have been investigating. But Biden has never said what that was. And the new AG Lutsenko should have opened an investigation into that which Shokin wasn’t investigating. Instead, Lutsenko closed the investigation into Burisma and Soros’ NGO.
He was investigating, I believe, the President or owner of Burisma.
Noooooooo!!!!!!!!
You never, ever repeat their own words! Thats hate speech.
Youll go to prison.
