RIP
Rest In Peace.
Seems he has been on television forever.
He really had some hair back in the day!
Have to say I’ve never heard him say anything I’d take serious issue with. RIP.
RIP in the Arms of Jesus.
Jack Van Impe’s TV program ministered to me greatly in my early years as a Christian, nearly 40 years ago.
What an ironic last name for a reverend; Dr. Impe.
I remember he was said to have memorized the Bible. I once taped his show and went through it, checking his Bible references (there were a lot).
He was 100% correct.
There were a few things I questioned about his doctrine. I guess he knows the correct answers first. His memorization of Bible verses was second to no one else I encountered. May he be resting with the Lord.
He did not die, he is more alive now then before.
I enjoyed his show. He certainly could quote the scriptures and tie them together to reinforce a point. RIP, brother.
I caught his program recently and was surprised at how frail he looked. RIP.
I don’t like the ones who constantly try to scare old people with doom and gloom. Impe and his wife(?) did that a lot.
So sad to hear this. I thought he was a goner last year but he came back strong and passionate. I’m so glad he got to be on TV for a little longer. Will miss him greatly. You couldn’t ask for better Servants of God than Jack and Rexella - what a blessing! Heaven just gained a new Saint.
We had a college professor who had memorized the bible too- brilliant man-
[[I dont like the ones who constantly try to scare old people with doom and gloom.]]
Millions have become saved under hell fire and brimstone preaching- it;’s effective- and people should be scared- eternity without God is going to be horrific- there’s no sugar coating eternity without God-
He did sell records and tapes about the coming war with the USSR.
Did you insert a question mark after ‘his wife’ for any particular reason?
RIP.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom . . .
