It might not beat it, but I'll settle for the tie:)
The re-election of President Donald John Trump, will make me happy for the next five years {or how ever long I might live}.
We do need to win the house and increase our numbers in the senate, but those details will take care of themselves.
It won’t be a tie if about 5 million non-Trump voters in 2016 vote Trump in 2020, which is not hard to imagine: 1) considering some of the likely Dem nominees; 2) the fact that Trump hasn’t put people in concentration camps or done any of all the other crazy stuff people were going around claiming he would do; 3) has not governed like a liberal as some true conservatives had valid concerns about; and 4) many people know that their employers have to worry about keeping even semi-decent employees and thus no longer worry about keeping their jobs.
No, Election Night 2020 is going to be even better than 2016. Virginia won’t be able to be called until the early hours of Wednesday. Virginia not looking good will start the leftist freakout on the networks by 9pm, so those who cannot stay up late to enjoy watching the returns live will be able to do so this year.
Florida and NC will be called for Trump earlier this time around. Ohio will be called shortly after polls close. Iowa and Wisconsin will be called for Trump sooner than last time. Trends in Maine, NH, Michigan, Minn., Colorado, and PA will not be good for Team Blue all night. While NY and NJ will go Team Blue, the margins will be half of what they were, so the network shills will see the popular vote slipping away and will have to worry about a surprise in Oregon or Washington and the margins in CA.
Unlike last time, when many Trump supporters watched the returns alone, huddled under blankets, hoping what they were watching unfold would hold up and the vote fraud wouldn’t be enough or went to bed early and drunk because they were convinced The Witch would win, now they will go out to their favorite sport’s bar/watering hole and just get buzzed while enjoying watching the returns with old friends and new ones.
