Three Years Ago Today, Donald Trump Was Sworn In

Posted on 01/20/2020 9:45:28 AM PST by cotton1706

Three years ago!

And one year from now (God willing!) Donald Trump will be sworn in for a second term.

But in three short years, these are his accomplishments, just off the top of my head.

TPP trade deal - gone

Iran Deal - gone

Paris Climate Change accords - gone

NAFTA - gone (just last week replaced by USMCA)

Individual Mandate to purchase health care - gone

Corporate Taxes - slashed to 21%

Regulations - large bulk eliminated

Judges - Confirmed (185 total, 2 Supreme Court, 50 Circuit, 133 District)

NATO - paying more of its dues

ISIS Caliphate - Eliminated

Al Bagdaddi - Killed

Solemani - Killed

US Embassy in Israel - moved to Jerusalem

Unemployment rate - 3.5%

Stock-Markets - continuous all-time highs

ANWR - opened for drilling

Shackles on oil drilling generally - removed

Steel mills - reopened

Manufacturing - on its way back

Media - enraged

Democrat party - discombobulated

And more!

John McCain - Dead (not due to Trump but a bonus, nonetheless)

I remember the day well as I was in a job interview.

My crooked former company invented an excuse to fire me mainly because I was an older worker and had a lot of accumulated vacation which was highly profitable for them to steal four months earlier.

Less than a month later, I started my present job which pays substantially better and upgraded me from a cube to a spacious private office.

The crooked former company had to hire two people to replace me.

I look at that list and it makes me proud that I voted for him (and will again). However, I have some liberal friends who cannot, and will not, ever see the good things that he’s done. They’re deep - DEEP - in the throes of TDS.

I do believe he’ll win re-election.

I have so many reasons to vote for Trump:

The economy immigration trade judges etc. etc.

But I must confess I think this year my number one reason I will vote for Trump is because I cannot wait to see how it makes Democrats and other leftists go insane, even more so than last time.

I have called him the BBB
Bombastic Bloviating Blowhard

But I agree, is has been most satisfying to see the Progressives/Socialists/Communists/Snowflakes/
With Sploidy Heads, Trump dominating their thinking

Progressivism is corrupt to the core
Like Socialism and Communism
For they enable that which is most evil in the hearts of men
The Desire for power on this Earth

If the Dems really wanted to neutralize Trump
The best approach would be to simple ignore him
Trump thrives on conflict and is energized by it

Yes, I forgot illegal immigration. That’s been a major battle, but it’s now pretty much halted.

Yeah but his stature has diminished, he only comes up to Barron’s chin now.

I worked in property management at the time in DC. It was such a happy day. Happy days continue in retirement in Sweet Home Alabama.

Think how much more he could have accomplished if he had taken the time to make better appointments to key positions.

My oldest friend and his wife, who proudly proclaimed themselves “independent” and voted for Naders as long as I’ve known them, proudly went ALL IN for BJ’s wife the day before the 2016 election, and now spew nothing but anti-Trump hatred for America.

My stepmother’s and moonbat lactation activist sister’s unhinged hatred didn’t surprise me, though.

Sad, sad, demented folks.
