Unsubstantiated, of course, but when one is connecting dots, you have to look at the timing of events. I saw the Peet announcement, which indicated that he was ‘ejected’ from the White House, which means that he was deemed either unreliable or suspicious (the timing of his removal after only three months. Look at the NSC background: “The top Russia expert on President Donald Trump’s National Security Council has left his post after about three months, according to three people familiar with the matter”. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-01-19/trump-loses-another-russia-adviser-adding-to-nsc-turnover. Peek had replaced Tim Morrison, who had replaced Fiona Hill. Morrison and Hill were ‘witnesses’ at the House Impeachment Circus last month. No doubt Peek was highly innvolved with the shenanigans that were pulled at the State Dept. and NSC and Schiff was getting inside intel. Could Peek have been the ‘leaker’ that Schiff relied on? He sure screamed bloody murder out of the blue that Intel was being witheld from him, and the timing suggest that Peek was his contact. Again, all speculation, but the way he was removed after only 3 months indicates that there is a huge story there. Perhaps we will find out when Trump’s lawyers start tearing apart Schiff’s fairy tale.
