Policymakers and business leaders from around the world are due to arrive in Davos, Switzerland for the World Economic Forum (WEF) on Monday...Over half of the world’s GDP (gross domestic product) is exposed to risks from nature loss, according to a new report. It comes following a 12-month period which reportedly saw the hottest year on record for the world’s oceans, the second-hottest year for global average temperatures, and wildfires from the U.S., to the Amazon, to Australia.

There are many sci-fi plots more believable than global warming. The have resorted to just making things up.

Yes. And it’s tragic that no counter-arguments are ever allowed. If some researcher wants to claim that climate change is affecting GDP, fine. Let’s see his raw data, and then allow for counter-arguments.
But all such challenges are forbidden. And should some professor somewhere try, there would be angry protestors at his office, and angry protestors at his home.
It really is quite fascist.
If the situation is so dire, why are these folks still flying private jets and living in mansions? Seems like the enlightened class would want to lead by example.

I knew this article was rubbish as soon as they mentioned the Australia fires, which was helped by hundreds of arsonist and careless campers.
The California fires were caused by liberal policies that forbid the clearing of dry underbrush.
Yes, the climate is not static. It has been changing since the earth was formed. The man-made climate myth is the greatest hoax of all time.

Great quote, but I thought the whole aim of politics was to provide a path to power for the talentless.
Same with Australia. Leftist protesters stopped the needed prescribed burning last year.
